Ella es de La Paz. Me dijo que el corralito la había jodido, que había vivido muchos más años en Argentina que en Bolivia. Y ahora es Minnie en la Plaza Mayor de Madrid. Dice que acá también está duro, que con más de 50 no te quiere nadie. En España, Minnie es boliviana.
Me parece que hay un momento en que el trabajo deja de definirte. Sin embargo, algo hay en el oficio que se te ve por los poros, aunque no te importe, aunque andes de civil por la calle. Ayer,me acerqué a la Minnie boliviana de la Plaza Mayor para pedirle que me dejara hacerle una foto, sin la máscara. Era para mí, no había afán chismoso allí y sin embargo, ella me dijo: "eres periodista, ¿no?".Le contesté que "no", con convicción. No creí mentirle, luego lo pensé, pensé que no estaba ejerciendo... no me identifiqué con su pregunta y, sin embargo, hoy estoy haciendo esta pequeña crónica de mi charla con ella. La pura contradicción.
